The top award winners and the player selections from the San Gabriel Valley, Pasadena and Whittier areas. PLAYER OF THE YEAR ISAAC OCHOA, BISHOP AMAT, SENIOR Bishop Amat senior striker Isaac Ochoa is the San Gabriel Valley boys soccer player of the year. He finished a phenomenal season with an area-best 32 goals, which were the fifth most goals scored in the CIF Southern Section according to MaxPreps. Ochoa also finished with 10 assists and helped the Lancers finish 17-5-2 and second in the Del Rey League.
